Betsy Eby and Bo Bartlett live on their own island, 23 miles off the Maine Coast- it takes a flight in a four person plane and a rowboat ride to get to there. Both painters, their homes on the island are an artist’s dream: light filled and beautifully simple structures surrounded by open sea and untamed land. It’s like they’ve created their own world.
