Cultivating Community is a Maine-based non-profit that connects people to local and healthy food. Their programs support refugee farmers, educate kids and teens about food and farming, and connect local elders and low income communities to healthy food sources. Over the summer, I teamed with the organization to document all of their programs.

This week, they unveiled their new website

Maine Farmland Trust  just released it’s first-ever journal. It’s beautifully curated on gorgeous paper, filled with stories about the Maine farm community. Maine’s designers, illustrators and writers joined forces to create something rich and real. And, I got to photograph two stories for the journal.

Here are some of my favorite photos from the first assignment, a story about Maine’s farm distribution hubs.
